Subject: Opposing the Density Dalkeith

To whom it may concern,

My name is Gabrielle Lim and I reside on Minora Road. I've been living in Dalkeith for the last 9 years and I must say that Dalkeith is PERFECT in every way.
Therefore I am writing this email to voice out my opinion AGAINST DENSITY IN DALKEITH!!!

I have received the draft redevelopment plan and I'm against the following things:

the council's Dalkeith concept draft built form design guideines (precinct 18) Decepber 2007 ("The Dalkeith Concept plan") which proposes totally inappropriate high density devlopment
Up to 5 storey/19m high rise commercial/residential redevelpment along Waratah Avenue from Adelma to Roberts St
Three storey/12m high rise residential redevelopment in Dalkeith
Multiple dwelling residential redevelopment along Waratah Aveue and Circe Circle (Part of)
Short term accommodation flats/apartments in Dalkeith - many less than 70 square meters
Motels / hotels / taverns in Dalkeith
the secrecy surrounding the Dalkeith concept plan since June last year and lack of publicity and public consultation unti the last moment.
