Good morning Mayor and Councillors,

These documents, amongst others, have just come to me.

Attachment 1 - Council timeline given to the "landowners" late 2007
("landowners" = owners of properties within proposed redevelopment area).
According to
this, Council was hoping for the concept plan to be a done deal by mid to
late 2008 with gazettal scheduled for that time period.

Attachment 2 - this is Council Post ad 19/12. Compare timeline wording to
attachment 1.

Attachments 3 and 4 - Council letter to "landowners" 12/10. Para 2 "As a
result of a number of formal approaches to the City requesting
redevelopment, the council resolved in early 2007 to commence the Dalkeith
redevleopment area as a priority. To achieve this, the DBFG are being
progressed as both a Town Planning Scheme No 2 amendment as well as being
incorporated into Draft TPS No 3. " Signed Graham Foster CEO

The real story continues to unfold. The contents of these documents is very
disturbing.

I have asked Council for copies of the petitions and "approaches" made to
them for redevelopment by the "landowners". No answer yet.

I have also made an FOI request to Council. No answer yet.

I appreciate how busy you all are (really I do).

Could one of you please help me with my requests?
