Good morning Meloni/Lovi family

It is great to receive constructive feedback.

I will forward your email and this reply to the other councillors and senior council staff to keep everyone aware of the people of Dalkeith's reaction to this concept.

There has been a lot of feedback coming in since the start of December and
there is still another 29 days to go.

The general consensus seems to be that the concept has gone too far, I don't
think extending the feed back time will change this.

On a personal note I have no intention of voting on this issue, I have made everyone aware of this from the outset.

Like you I would like to see a more vibrant hub along Waratah avenue, however any development must be to a scale that suits Dalkeith and retains the unique character of our area.

I joined council in October 2007 this concept was established before my time, I do not support it.

I do receive a lot of feedback as I am accessible to the community through my everyday work, I pass this feedback on to all councillors and staff as I am doing now.

I just want to help get the balance right.
