Dear Mr Latchem,

My apologies if you did not receive acknowledgement from me for your
original email. I certainly reply to all emails addressed to me
personally, as I am very aware of my responsiblilities as a councillor.

I am paying full attention to the process of updating the city's Town
Planning Scheme, and especially this first area in Dalkeith. In my
opinion it is far too early in the process for councillors to have a firm
position, as the point of this current consultation is to float ideas and
obtain feedback from residents.

Please be assured that I am keeping fully informed of progress in this
process.
