The inclusion of hotel as a potential use in the use table of the concept in some precincts was one of the land uses that was considered might be appropriate for the Dalkeith Village Area. The concept was developed for community feedback on the proposed built form and land uses to assist in the development of the draft guidelines.
There is no data kept of people who ring the council asking about accommodation or any other such general questions or of people who come and discuss a matter at the Administration Officer so I am unable to provide you with any data.
We are looking for guidance from the community on the proposed landuses and the housing choices that are proposed during this informal consultation period. This would include those they do not consider appropriate and those that they would see as suitable.
